An update to our Big Sur model, the Del Mar provides our standard amenities of a kitchen and queen-sized bed with a streamlined design and extra storage space plus an additional double bed in the interior pop up campervan!
The new Del Mar pop up campervan model is the ultimate package for travel enthusiasts. They’re perfect for long weekend getaways, cross country bucket list road trips, and national park tours. When you compare campervans to RVs, our small campervans provide functional comforts and the flexibility and freedom to get off the beaten path.

We took our largest campervan, the Big Sur, and gave it the ultimate upgrade. Similar to the Big Sur, you can keep the rear buck seats up when you put the bed down (perfect for families with car seats). Drawers and compartments underneath the back benches provide extra storage and organization.
What’s new? The Del Mar gives you the ability to stand while inside the vehicle, enough room to sleep 5 comfortably (without ever leaving the van), and more bells and whistles than any other Escape model, including USB chargers & lighting built directly into the pop top campervan.

We rented the Maverick from the office in Las Vegas. The staff was very nice ans helpful ans the campervan was sick!! 😍 Everything worked out very well. We did a 10 day round trip to LA, Big Sur, San Francisco and Yosemite NP. Would def recommend it! 🙃

We had a great rental experience at Escape Campervan Calgary! Aaron was helpful and communicated well. Our family of four enjoyed the Big Sur model: comfortable seating, big windows, smooth ride, practical set up. The van had a rooftop tent and we slept comfortably during our 10 day trip to the West Coast. We appreciated the campervan’s easy setup and go! We’ve recommended the experience to friends!

Our family of 3 rented a Big Sur with rooftop sleeper for 10 days to spend time in Banff, Jasper and Yoho end of June/early July. This was our third time renting from Escape Campervans (Seattle, Las Vegas, and now Calgary) and this was by far the best experience. Aaron explained everything thoroughly when we picked up the van, had great suggestions for things to see and do that were away from the crowds, and walked through a checklist of things we might have forgotten to bring that he could provide which helped immensely. The van was in great shape, ran like a champ up and down the hills of the Icefields Parkway, and all of the campervan features (stove, fridge, sink, rooftop sleeper, etc.) worked without a hitch. Beds and bedding were warm and comfortable, though we had to buy a blanket midway through the trip because it was unusually cold at night for July. At the end of our trip we dropped off the van in the afternoon rather than the next morning in order to make our morning flight. Aaron was there again to handle the drop off process quickly and efficiently. Since we were the last customer of the day he offered to give us a ride to our hotel which is unheard of and was very much appreciated. Talk about over-the-top service! We'd definitely rent here again!
