The space-saving kitchen in the back of the van includes a 1-burner pullout stove, 3.5-gallon sink & water tank, and dual-powered refrigerator. I would highly recommend anyone to go with escape campervans. We had a ‘Santa Cruz’ for 12 nights and it was perfect for a couple & provided everything we need to comfortably do a road trip. It was easy to drive, especially for someone not used to bigger vans like the others offered. Plus we had an awesome paint job! 10/10 would do again!

Service with Escape was great! Reasonable rates and love the availability. Having previously rented a Maverick we decided to try the Santa Cruz. The mileage per gallon was great considering the price of gas in CA, but we found the mattress a bit too thin and the drawers for storage didn’t accommodate one (out of 2) of our carryon suitcases. But overall, it was a great way to see a bunch of Northern California. And so many people were like, “Love your van!”

Would be five stars, but all the pictures and videos I saw led me to believe that *every* Santa Cruz has a glass roof over the bed. My friend and I would have gotten a bigger van for the same price if we knew that wasn't a guarantee.

We had an amazing time travelling around California! The Santa Cruz was the perfect size for the two of us, and the storage made it so easy to keep everything organized.
